Another Earthquake in the World

Really? Another devastating earthquake?  This time in China.  See article here. Does anyone else find it strange there have been so many big earthquakes within such a short period of time????  Haiti in Jan.  Chile in Feb.  Taiwan in March. Mexico and China in April. Sheesh....the Earth needs to take a chill-pill.

There was also one in Indonesia on April 6. It does seem strange that all the plates are moving at once, but I guess if they're impacting each other it kind of makes sense? Clearly I am not a geologist. I just hope that enough pressure has been let off now that everyone around the world can relax for a while.

Read this. http://blog.newsweek.com/blogs/thehumancondition/archive/2010/04/14/the-year-of-the-earthquake-not-quite-despite-high-profile-events-quakes-are-not-increasing-populations-are.aspx

Or if you don't have time I'll sum it up. The amount of earthquakes in any given year is normal this year, there have just been more that have had human impact this year.
