My Fave Restaurants in Chile

The idea of this page is to document all of my favorite restaurants in Chile in case anyone needs recommendations of good places to go eat.  Most of these restaurants are in Santiago since I lived here for over 3 years, but I have included some from other parts of the country as well in case you happen to be travelling!  Enjoy!


Santiago Restaurants

• El Huerto: vegetarian & delicious; I love the "Nuevo México" plate, hummus appetizer, guacamole appetizer, fresh squeezed juices and the sangria
• Located at Orrego Luco 054 in Providencia
• Closest metro stops are Pedro de Valdivia or Los Leones
• La Chakra: organic & vegetarian & delicious; this was my favorite go-to lunch place since it was so close to my office; I love their veggie lasagna, whole-wheat empanadas and the little pancito & pebre they give you
• Located at Mariano Sanchez Fontecilla 534 in Las Condes
• Closest metro stops are Tobalaba or Colón
• El Ciudadano Restaurant: know for its pizzas, this restaurant also has pasta and meat dishes; I love their thin-crusted pizzas and cheap drinks; try to make a reservation as it fills up quickly
