Searching...

I've been feeling a bit lost lately. Not quite sure how to explain it, it is a pretty strange feeling to me seeing as how I normally always know what I want, how to get it and I just go from there. Perhaps a quarter-life crisis? Could be....but I sure hope I figure it out soon. Back home when I felt lost, or wasn't quite sure what to do, I had mentors to talk to about the situation. They would guide me, point out aspects of certain situations that I hadn't noticed and brought up points of view that were new. I miss those mentors. I know I should just try and ignore the uneasiness for now seeing as how I have a million things left to do for the wedding, but I just don't like not knowing where my life is going and not having a decided direction. I'm sure none of this makes sense and just seems like rambling, but I feel like that is exactly what I need. Desahogarme....eso es lo que necesito.

Maybe you should try to find another mentor here in Chile who could help you out...or send emails to your mentors back home.

I know the feeling though. If it's any consolation...it always passes sooner or later. :)

Makes perfect sense. I think we've all been there from time to time.

The best advice I can give is to just be with it, the lostness, totally own it. Maybe even try to enjoy it. Let it be.

Like Kyle says, it'll pass. Finding a mentor is not a bad idea.

I was out with a friend and some of her friends on Friday and one of them brought a book, I think it was called "The oracle". There were 36 pieces of advice. So they wrote 36 numbers on pieces of paper and we asked questions and drew numbers and read our divine answers and got in a few laughs at the same time!

But next time we get together, we can do your tarot. We should've done them the other day; it just didn't occur to me then. I have cards. I get a kick out of them. They seem to have a way of reflecting reality and pinpointing certain things that weren't as obvious. Which makes it easier to make decisions.

I'm right there with you with the lost feeling...these ladies have already left you some good advice, but it's also nice to have a reminder that you aren't alone! And that, as all things, it's part of a process. Although it can feel pretty miserable and without purpose, you can learn some incredible things while going through this experience and the feelings that come with it. So, along with what Heather says about owning it and being with it, I would also say pay attention. Life can tell us some important things when we go through this. Good luck, te mando mucho carinyo y lo mas obvio es que eres fuerte y que saldras adelante mas pronto de lo que piensas!
